Maruya Recipe
Ingredients
| All-purpose flour - 1 cup | ||
| Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Dash | |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Milk | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bananas - 4 to 6 | ||
| Oil for deep frying | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Skin the bananas. Slice diagonally 3/8 inch thick.
MAKING
2) In a bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and egg
3) Combine well.
4) Dip banana slices into the batter.
5) In the skillet heat deep oil to 375°F.
6) Add banana slices in batches and fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
7) Drain on absorbent paper.
SERVING
8) This dish serves 6.
