Marshmallow Squares Recipe
marshmallow squares are marshmallow and cherry snacks that are prepared by freezing in the fridge. Prepared with graham wafer crumbs and condensed milk all mixed together with the bottled cherries and marshmallows, the marshmallow squares can be sprinkled with added crumbs and chilled.
Ingredients
| 40 graham wafers rolled to fine crumbs | ||
| 1 small bottle maraschino cherries | ||
| Marshmallows | 30 | |
| Sweetened condensed milk | 1 Can (10oz) | |
Directions
Set aside 1/2 cup graham wafer crumbs for top and bottom.
Drain cherries and cut in halves.
Cut up marshmallows and mix with condensed milk, remaining graham wafer crumbs and cherries.
Butter an 8 inch square pan and sprinkle 1/4 cup reserved crumbs on the bottom.
Add marshmallow mixture and pat down.
Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup crumbs on top.
Chill and cut in squares.
