Marshmallow Icing Recipe
Ingredients
3 egg whites
1/3 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
Directions
Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Combine the cream of tartar, sugar and water in a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat; bring to a boil.
Boil until the mixture spins a long thread when a little is dropped from a spoon held above the saucepan.
Add the egg whites and beat at high speed until of spreading consistency.
