Marshmallow Yam Bake Recipe

 4 cups mashed yams or sweet potatoes
 Pineapple tidbits1 Can (10oz), undrained
 Butter/Margarine1/4 Cup (16 tbs), softened
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Marshmallows16 Large
 Pecan halves1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Pineapple chunks1 Can (10oz), drained

Directions

Mix yams, pineapple tidbits, butter or margarine, and salt together.
Place half of mixture in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Top with half the marshmallows.
Pour remaining yam mixture over marshmallows.
Arrange pecan halves in center.
Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until yams are heated through.
Remove from oven and top with remaining marshmallows and pineapple chunks.
Bake 10 minutes longer or until marshmallows are lightly browned.
