Marshmallow Confections Recipe
Ingredients
| 5 oz. chocolate candy coating, cut into pieces | ||
| 5 oz. vanilla candy coating, cut into pieces | ||
| 40 to 42 plain or colored toothpicks | ||
| 1 pkg. large marshmallows | ||
| 1 cup finely chopped peanuts or 1 cup colored sprinkles | ||
Directions
Line cookie sheet with waxed paper.
Melt chocolate candy coating in small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
In another small saucepan, repeat for vanilla candy coating.
Place toothpick in center of each marshmallow.
Dip half of the marshmallows (about 20) into melted chocolate coating, covering half or more of each marshmallow with coating; allow excess coating to drip off.
Dip marshmallows into peanuts.
Repeat with remaining marshmallows and vanilla coating; dip into peanuts.
Place on waxed paper lined cookie sheet to set.
If candy coatings become stiff, remelt over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Store in airtight container.
