Mariners' Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Crabmeat | 1 Pound | |
| Pimento | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Green pepper | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Mushrooms | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Potato Chips, slightly crushed | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon (Sauce:) | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon (Sauce:) | |
| Milk | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Sauce:) | |
| Medium cheddar cheese - 1/2 cup, grated | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 400-degrees fahrenheit
MAKING
2 For the sauce: in top of double boiler, mix all the ingredients and stir until smooth.
3 In a 2-quart casserole, arrange alternate layers of crab, vegetables, chips and cheese sauce, ending with chips.
4 Cover and refrigerate.
5 Bake uncovered in oven for 25 minutes or until heated through.

6 Serve hot.
