Marinated Pear Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 Bartlett pears, peeled | ||
| Salad oil | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| White wine vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Pimento | 4 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Basil | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pitted dates | 6 | |
| 1/4 c. tangy cheese spread | ||
| Lettuce | ||
Directions
Halve pears; core.
Combine oil, vinegar, salt, parsley, pimento and basil in jar.
Cover; shake well.
Place pear halves, cut side down, in shallow bowl; pour oil dressing over pears.
Chill, covered, for 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Stuff dates with cheese spread.
Arrange pears, cut side up, on lettuce-lined serving plate; garnish with dates.
Spoon remaining dressing over pears.
