Zesty Marinated Flank Steak Recipe

Ingredients

 1 kg 2 lb lean flank steak
 Marinade
 300 mL 1 1/4 cups canned tomatoes, crushed
 300 mL 1 1/4 cups beef broth
 175 mL 3/4 cup dry red wine
 Onion1 , thinly sliced
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), finley sliced
 15 mL 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
 5 mL 1 tsp thyme
 Bay Leaf1
 25 mL 2 tbsp margarine
 1 packet 3 pepper sauce

Directions

Combine all the ingredients for the marinade in a glass dish.
Mix well.
Place the meat in the marinade and make sure it is covered completely.
Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 12 hours, turning the meat 1 or 2 times.
Remove the meat from the marinade and dry with a paper towel.
Broil the meat on a hot plate in the oven for a few minutes, as desired.
Slice the meat thinly against the grain.
