Lemony Marinated Flank Steak Recipe
Ingredients
| Beef flank steak | 1 | |
| 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons lemon juice | ||
| 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce | ||
| Dry mustard | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Vegetable oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Vegetable cooking spray | ||
Directions
Trim excess fat from steak, and place steak in a large shallow dish.
Combine lemon juice, soy sauce, dry mustard, and oil; mix well, and pour over steak.
Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.
Remove steak from marinade, reserving marinade.
Coat rack of a broiler pan with cooking spray.
Place steak on rack.
Broil 2 to 4 inches from heating element 7 to 9 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness, basting often with marinade.
Cut diagonally across grain into thin slices to serve.
