Ingredients

 2 lb. beef round steak, very thinly sliced
 White wine1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Thyme leaf1/4 Teaspoon
 Bay Leaf1
 Peppercorns4
 Onions3 Medium, sliced
 Flour2 Tablespoon
 Butter2 Tablespoon, melted
 Parsley2 Tablespoon, chopped
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Place steak slices in bowl.
Mix together white wine, thyme, bay leaf and peppercorns and pour over steak.
Cover and refrigerate until morning.
Place alternate layers of sliced onion and meat in crock pot.
Pour in marinade.
Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours.
One hour before serving, mix flour and butter; add to crock pot.
Taste for seasoning.
Continue to cook until thickened.
