Ingredients
| Tomatoes | 2 , sliced | |
| Cucumber | 1 , sliced | |
| Onion | 1 , sliced | |
| Vegetable oil | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 cup Real Lemon juice from concentrate | ||
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Basil leaves | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), finely chopped | |
| Lettuce leaves | ||
| Imitation bacon or cooked crumbled bacon | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Use a 2 quart shallow baking dish, to arrange tomatoes, cucumber and onion.
2) In small bowl, add remaining ingredients other than lettuce and imitation bacon.
3) Pour the mixture over tomatoes.
4) Place inside refrigerator to chill for several hours.
SERVING
5) Use the platter to line with lettuce.
6) Nicely arrange tomatoes, cucumbers and onion. Sprinkle with bacon on top to serve.
