Marinated Sirloin Tips Recipe
Ingredients
2 pounds loin tips, cut into 1-1 1/2inch cubes
Adolph's Instant Meat Tenderizer
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon thyme
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons salt
3 cloves garlic
1/4 teaspoon oregano
2 green peppers, cut into 1-inch squares
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 teaspoon rosemary
2 teaspoons catsup
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoon Lawry's seasoning
1/4 teaspoon mace
2 cans (4 oz.) button mushrooms
1 carton cherry tomatoes
Directions
Wash beef carefully, and sprinkle heavily with meat tenderizer.
Puncture each cube several times with a fork.
Stir the olive oil, lemon juice, thyme, vinegar, mustard, salt, garlic, oregano, onion, rosemary, catsup, marjoram, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, Lawry's seasoning and mace together in a saucepan.
Bring marinade to a boil, reduce heat, and boil for 5 minutes.
Pour over meat, and allow to marinate for 6 or more hours before broiling.
Place marinated meat and green peppers into 10 x 14-inch baking pan and cover with marinade.
Place under hot broiler for about 15 minutes or until brown on top.
Remove from broiler and turn meat.
Add mushrooms and cherry tomatoes and cover with marinade as much as possible, and return to broiler.
Broil approximately 15 minutes more or until done.1
