Marinated Cocktail Meatballs Recipe
Ingredients
| Beef | 1 1/4 Pound, chopped | |
| Bread crumbs | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dried mint | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dash allspice, cinnamon, and cloves | ||
| Parsley flakes | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Pinch oregano | ||
| Tomato sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 , grated | |
| Garlic salt | 1 To taste | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Mix all ingredients except tomato sauce and 1/4 cup water and shape into 1 inch balls.
Put on lightly greased baking pan and bake in a 450 degree oven for 20 minutes.
Drain on absorbent paper.
In a saucepan simmer tomato sauce and remaining water for 5 minutes.
Correct seasoning.
Add meatballs to sauce and allow to marinate overnight.
Heat in covered casserole and Garnish with parsley and toasted almonds.
