Tasty Marinated Carrots Recipe
Ingredients
| Carrots | 1 1/2 Pound, sliced | |
| 2 tablespoons broth, either homemade or canned | ||
| Olive oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), cut in half | |
| Granulated Sugar | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Watercress | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
In a steamer or medium saucepan steam carrots with a small amount of water until tender-crisp; drain.
In a medium bowl combine broth, vinegar, oil, garlic, sugar, salt and white pepper; mix well.
Add watercress and carrots; mix well.
Marinate in refrigerator for several hours to overnight.
Serve chilled or reheat gently to serve hot.
