Marinated Broiled Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| Dry sherry | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 3 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Prepared horseradish | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Powdered ginger | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Broilers - 2 1-1/2-pound , quartered | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1 In a pan, combine sherry, soy sauce, sugar, onions, horseradish and ginger.
2 Bring to a boil and cook over low heat 2 minutes.
3 Brush the chickens throughly with this mixture and allow to stand for 30 minutes.
MAKING
4 Grease a broiling pan with 1 tablespoon oil.
5 Place the chicken skin side down in the pan.
6 Broil for about 15 minutes and then turn the chicken (skin side down)
7 Brush with the remaining oil
8 Broil for another 15 minutes, basting frequently.
SERVING
9 Serve hot.
