Marinated Beef Roast Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 teaspoon garlic juice | ||
| Ground black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Whole Cloves | 2 | |
| Dry red wine | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Beef roast | 6 pound, rolled | |
| Olive oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Combine garlic juice, pepper, bay leaf, cloves, and wine in large roaster.
Add roast.
Spoon mixture over roast.
Cover; marinate overnight in refrigerator, occasionally basting roast with marinade.
Heat oil in large skillet.
Remove roast from marinade; pat dry.
Brown on all sides.
Place roast back into marinade.
Cover; bake in 375°F oven 2 hours.
Uncover; allow roast to brown about 30 minutes.
Remove roast from pan.
Place roasting pan with marinade on burner.
Bring to boil.
Make paste with flour and water; pour into marinade, stirring constantly.
Cook until thickened.
Slice roast; serve with gravy.
