Marinated Abalone Recipe
Marinated Abalone is easy to make recipe. Marinated Abalone gets its taste from abalone mixed with soy sauce and flavored with white vinegar. Marinated Abalone is cherished by many across the world.
Ingredients
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
2 tablespoons each white vinegar and water
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 whole green onion, thinly sliced
Dash of ground red pepper (cayenne)
1 can (about 8 oz.) abalone
Directions
Place sesame seeds in a small frying pan and cook over medium heat, shaking pan frequently, until seeds begin to pop and turn golden (about 2 minutes).
Remove pan from heat and stir in vinegar, water, soy, sugar, green onion, and red pepper.
Drain abalone (save the liquid for soup) and thinly slice.
Place in a plastic bag, pour marinade over abalone slices, and seal.
Chill for at least 2 hours, turning bag occasionally to distribute marinade.
