Marinara Sauce Recipe
I originally made this Marinara Sauce for my husband but I can't stop eating it now! I grew up eating this Marinara Sauce frequently. It would be worth trying!

1/2 cup minced onions
1 tablespoon Chicken Stock
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup minced celery
5 cups coarsely chopped plum tomatoes, with juice
4 cups water
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons oregano
2 teaspoons thyme
1 bay leaf
2 teaspoons dried parsley
Directions
In a medium-size saucepan, saute the onions in the stock for 5 minutes.
Add the garlic, celery, tomatoes, water, and vinegar.
Bring to a boil, then simmer gently, uncovered, for 2 hours.
Add oregano, thyme, bay leaf, and parsley and simmer 30 minutes longer.
Remove bay leaf.
