Marble Cream Recipe
Ingredients
9 graham crackers
1 cup cold water
2 pkg. unflavored gelatin
2 tsp flour
2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 cup dietetic maple syrup
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Arrange graham crackers in the bottom of a greased 9 in. (23 cm) sq. baking dish.
Set aside.
Combine cold water and gelatin in a saucepan; allow to soften for 5 minutes.
Stir in flour, cornstarch, cream of tartar and maple syrup.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture is very thick.
Remove from heat and beat in baking soda.
Cool slightly, pour mixture over graham crackers.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
With the tip of a knife, carefully swirl melting chips into maple mixture.
Refrigerate until firm.
With a sharp knife, cut into 1 in. (2.5 cm) squares.
