Maraschino Cherry Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. orange juice
1/4 c. maraschino cherry juice
Red food coloring
6 maraschino cherries, cut up
Directions
Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan; add corn syrup, juices and 1/2 cup water gradually, stirring until smooth.
Cook for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Tint with desired amount of food coloring.
Add cherries.
Serve sauce on peaches or mixed fruits.
