Maple Praline Louisiane Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Maple extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 112 c. small pecans | ||
| Cream of tartar | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Combine all ingredients and 1 1/2 cups hot water in saucepan; place over medium heat.
Cook to 234 de- grees on candy thermometer, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
Stir with wooden spoon for 5 minutes or until mixture begins to lose gloss and appears slightly granular.
Spoon onto buttered pan.
Reheat mixture gradually if too thick.
