 Yellow cake mix package1
 Firmly packed brown sugar1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 tablespoons Parkay margarine or butter softened

 Nuts1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped

 2/3 cup reserved cake mix
 Firmly packed brown sugar1/4 Cup (16 tbs) (FILLING)
 1/2 cup com syrup
 3 tablespoons Parkay margarine or butter softened
 Maple extract1/2 Teaspoon (FILLING)
 Nuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (FILLING)

Directions

Heat oven to 350°F.
Grease 13x9-inch pan.
In large bowl, combine cake mix, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons margarine and egg at low speed until crumbly; stir in 1/4 cup nuts.
Press in bottom of prepared pan.
Bake at 350°F. for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
In small bowl, beat 2 eggs until foamy.
Add 2/3 cup reserved cake mix, 1/4 cup brown sugar, corn syrup, 3 tablespoons margarine and maple extract.
Beat 1 minute at low speed until well mixed.
Pour over crust; sprinkle with 1/2 cup nuts.
Return to oven and bake 15 to 25 minutes or until golden brown (center will be soft).
Cool completely; cut into bars.
