Maple Fudge Recipe
Maple fudge is a maple sugar flavored fudge prepared along with nut meats and milk. A cooked dessert this maple fudge is creamy and nutty with the rich taste of maple sugar to it. served plain it is a wonderful dessert to indulge in.
Ingredients
| Maple sugar | 21/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Boiling water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Nut-meats- 1 cup, broken | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Start by breaking the maple sugar into small pieces
MAKING
2.In a saucepan, heat the small pieces of maple sugar with water.
3.When it is dissolved, add the milk.
4.Boil to the soft-ball stage (238° F.).
5.Remove from the heat and cool.
6.When it is lukewarm, beat until it creams and add the nut-meats.
7.Spread it in a buttered pan and when it hardens mark it into squares.
