Maple Bars Recipe
Ingredients
| Yeast | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Warm water | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Margarine | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Honey/Sugar | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Egg | 3 | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Vanilla | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon flavor | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Milk/Water | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Whole wheat flour | 4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs) | |
| Cooking oil | 3 Cup (48 tbs) (For Frying) | |
| All purpose flour | 3 Cup (48 tbs) | |
| Maple frost | 3 Tablespoon (For Glazing) |

Directions
Add the margarine, sugar or honey, eggs, salt, vanilla, lemon flavoring, milk or water, and flours.
Knead 10 minutes.
Cover, and let rise 1 hour.
Stir down, and turn out onto a lightly oiled surface.
Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness, and cut into oblong shapes, approximately 3 inches long.
Deepfat fry in 360° F.cooking oil until golden brown.
Drain on paper toweling.
While still warm, glaze with Maple Frosting.
