Maple Syrup Pie Recipe
Maple Syrup Pie has a great taste. Maple Syrup Pie gets its taste from cornstarch mixed with eggs and nuts, flavored with vanilla. Maple Syrup Pie is inspired by many cafeterias around the world.
Ingredients
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup water
3 egg yolks
2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups maple syrup
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup nuts, chopped
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 9 inch baked pie crust or Graham cracker crumb crust
Whipped cream nuts, chopped
Directions
In a bowl, dilute cornstarch in water.
Mix in egg yolks.
In a saucepan, over moderate heat, melt brown sugar in maple syrup.
Fold in corn starch, mixing until thick and creamy.
Over low heat, continue cooking 3 minutes, while stirring.
Off heat, mix in butter, chopped nuts and vanilla extract.
Pour into crust.
Refrigerate 2 hours.
Garnish with whipped cream and chopped nuts.
