Maple Syrup Flapjacks Recipe

Directions
1. Line a 16 x 25 x 3.5 cm (6 1/2 x 10 x 1 1/2 inch) baking tin with nonstick baking paper.
2. Melt the margarine in a saucepan over a medium heat. Stir in the maple syrup and sugar then simmer until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir in the oats.
3. Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and bake in a preheated oven, 180°C (350F), Gas Mark 4, for 25 minutes. Allow to cool in the tin a little then cut into squares while the mixture is still warm.
4. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
