Maple Spice Drops Recipe
Ingredients
| Whole wheat flour | 1 Cup(16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup quick-cooking oats | ||
| Sugar | 2/3 Cup(16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Maple syrup | 1/4 Cup(16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup(16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dark raisins | 1/2 Cup(16 tbs) | |
Directions
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and stir to mix well. Add the maple syrup, water, and vanilla extract, and stir to mix well. Fold in the raisins.
2. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, placing them 1 1/2 inches apart. Slightly flatten each cookie with the tip of a spoon.
3. Bake at 275 °F for 18 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool the cookies on the pan for 1 minute. Then transfer to racks, and cool completely.
