Maple Glazed Meat And Beans Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 12-ounce can luncheon meat | ||
| 1/4 cup maple-flavored syrup | ||
| 1 21-ounce can pork and beans in tomato sauce | ||
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| American Cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
Directions
Cut luncheon meat into 8 slices; brush each slice with some of the syrup, reserving remaining syrup.
Arrange meat around edge of a 9-inch pie plate, overlapping slightly.
In saucepan combine beans, the remaining syrup, onion, flour, and mustard.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly; pour boiling bean mixture into pie plate.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake, uncovered, at 350° till meat is lightly browned, about 20 minutes.
