Maple Dessert Cups Recipe
Ingredients
| Unflavored gelatin | 1 | |
| Brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Evaporated milk | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), skimmed | |
| 1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring | ||
| Egg white | 1 | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 6 tablespoons thawed frozen whipped dessert topping | ||
Directions
In saucepan combine gelatin and 2 tablespoons brown sugar; stir in 1/2 cup cold water.
Cook and stir over medium heat till gelatin and sugar dissolve.
Remove from heat; stir in evaporated skimmed milk and maple flavoring.
Pour mixture into large bowl; chill till almost set.
Beat egg white and 1 tablespoon brown sugar till stiff peaks form (tips stand straight).
Beat chilled gelatin mixture using electric mixer till light and fluffy Fold in beaten egg white.
Spoon into 6 sherbet dishes.
Chill till firm.
