Directions
In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in maple syrup, lemon juice and salt; bring to boil. Pour over carrots.
Microwave method: In microwaveable dish, cover and microwave carrots and 2 tbsp (25 ml) water at High for 9 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes; drain.
In 2-cup (500 ml) measure, microwave butter at High for 1 minute. Stir in maple syrup, lemon juice and salt; microwave until boiling. Pour over carrots.
