What size are your broilers? 2-7 pounds would vary the cooking time?

Hi, use 2 whole broiler fryer chickens of 3 to 3 1/2 lbs. each and halve them. Cook for 60 minutes and then check for tenderness by poking the tip of the knife into the meatiest portion of the thigh. Cook 10 to 15 minute more if required.
