Ingredients

 
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
 
Water
 
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
 
1/2 lb. bulk Italian sausage
 
1/4 cup chopped onion
 
2 eggs
 
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
12 cooked Manicotti
 
2 cups Classic Tomato Sauce

Directions

Cook spinach in water following package directions.
Drain well.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef, sausage and onion, stirring to break up meat.
Set aside.
In a medium bowl, beat eggs.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and salt.
Add cooked spinach and meat mixture.
Place about 1/4 cup filling down center of each cooked manicotti.
Fold to overlap edges.
Spread about 1/4 cup Classic Tomato Sauce over bottom of a shallow 13" x 9" baking dish.
Place filled manicotti in dish seam-side down.
Spoon 2 tablespoons Classic Tomato Sauce over each filled manicotti.
Place baking dish in cold oven.
Set temperature control at 350°F (175°C).
Bake 20 minutes.
Serve immediately.
Makes 12 manicotti.
