Rice - 1/2 kg
 
Ripe mango pulp - 1 cup
 
Ghee - 110 gms
 
Green cardamoms - 6
 
Cashewnuts - 60 gms
 
Raisins - 60 gms
 
Almonds - 60 gms
 
Pistachios - 60 gms
 
Castor sugar - 240 gms
 
Kewra flavor - 2 tsps

Directions

GETTING READY
1 Wash the rice and soak for about 15 minutes.

MAKING
2 In a pan, heat the ghee.
3 Add in soaked rice, cardamoms, 5 cups water and mango pulp.
4 Cook on a low heat, until tender and all the water is absorbed.
5 Transfer into another bowl and mix with castor sugar and kewra flavor.

SERVING
6 Serve on an oval plate, decorated with silver leaves, blanched almonds and pistachio slices.
