Mango Treat Recipe
Ingredients
| Raw mangoes - 250 grams, peeled and sliced | ||
| Jaggery | 250 Gram, finely grated | |
| Garam masala | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon | ||
| Mustard seeds - a big pinch | ||
| Asafoetida - a pinch | ||
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Chilli powder - to taste | ||
| Raisins | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a bowl cover jaggery with little water.
2. Stir and keep aside until dissolved.
3. In a skillet heat 2 tablespoons oil and toss in mustard seeds and asafoetida.
4. When seeds stop spluttering, add mangoes and fry till tender.
5. Mix jaggery and rest of the ingredients.
6. Cook until mangoes are tender.
SERVING
7. Serve with hot puries.
