| Seedless raisins or currants - 1 1/2 cups | ||
| Cayenne | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Mustard seed | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Crystallized ginger | 4 Ounce, thinly sliced | |
| Tomatoes | 6 | |
| Green pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Whole Cloves | 6 | |
| Nutmeg | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Apples - 6 medium-size, peeled, cored and sliced | ||
| Mangoes | 4 Large, peeled | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a large kettle, mix all ingredients, except apples and mangoes.
2) Cook the syrup for 1 hour.
3) Stir in apples and mangoes. Cook will the fruits ate soft.
4) Transfer into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/2-inch head space.
5) Seal immediately.
SERVING
6) Serve as desired.
