Ingredients

 Spices2 Teaspoon
 2 pounds very ripe mangoes
 1 pound cooking apples
 Onions3 Medium
 2 cups white or brown malt vinegar
 Firmly packed light brown sugar2 1/4 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

GETTING READY
1 In a cheesecloth tie the pickling spices.
2 Discard the seeds of the mangoes and cut them into 2-inch pieces.
3 Peel and chop the apples and onions.

MAKING
4 In a saucepan put the bag of spices,fruits and onions.Add 1 1/2 cup vinegar.
5 Cook until the mixture is tender.Add a little more vinegar if the mixture is too stiff.
6 Add in the sugar and remaining vinegar and cook until it attains a jam like consistancy.
7 Put in sterlized jars and seal.

SERVING
8 Serve as desired.
