Mandarin Shrimps Recipe

Ingredients
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 bag (1 1/2 pounds) frozen deveined shelled raw shrimps
1 clove of garlic, crushed
1 package (about 10 ounces) frozen green beans and mushrooms
1 can (5 ounces) water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1 can (103/4 ounces) condensed chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
2 cans (about 11 ounces each) fried rice
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions
Heat oil quickly in a large frying pan; stir in frozen shrimps and garlic.
Saute for 5 minutes; push to one side.
Place frozen green beans and mushrooms in pan; heat, breaking vegetables apart as they thaw, for 3 minutes; stir in water chestnuts, chicken broth and ginger; cover.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
While shrimp mixture simmers, heat fried rice, following the label directions.
Smooth cornstarch and water to a paste in a cup; stir in soy sauce, then stir into shrimp mixture.
Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and boils 3 minutes.
Spoon rice around edge of a large deep serving bowl; spoon shrimp mixture in center.
Garnish with sprigs of parsley, if you wish.
