Mandarin Pork Chops Recipe
Mandarin pork chops are orangy pork chops. Cooked with orange segmnts and orange juice, the skillet cooked pork chops are also flavored with a dash of lemon concentrate. Peppy with green pepper to taste, it is served warm with flavored rice.
Ingredients
4 center-cut pork chops
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice from Concentrate
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 teaspoons Chicken-Flavor Instant Bouillon
1 (11-ounce) can mandarin orange segments, drained
1 medium green pepper, sliced
Directions
In large skillet, brown chops in oil on both sides; remove from pan.
In skillet, add remaining ingredients except orange segments and green pepper; cook and stir until slightly thickened.
Add pork chops; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.
Add orange segments and green pepper; heat through.
Garnish as desired.
Refrigerate leftovers.
