Mandarin Lamb Chops Recipe
First of all let me thank my neighbor for sharing this excellent Mandarin Lamb Chops recipe. I tried this recipe for Mandarin Lamb Chops the other day and was totally bowled over. 1 tbsp oil
8 lamb chops
2 tsp cornstarch
4 tsp cold water
1 cup cranberry juice
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup raisins
10 oz canned mandarin orange sections, drained
Directions
In a skillet, heat oil.
Sear lamb chops on both sides.
Remove from skillet.
Set aside.
Dilute cornstarch in cold water.
Set aside.
Pour cranberry juice into skillet.
Add cornstarch.
Over low heat, cook until sauce thickens.
Season with sugar and salt.
Cook while stirring.
Place lamb chops in sauce.
Over low heat, simmer 25 minutes.
Halfway through cooking, add raisins and mandarin oranges.
Finish cooking.
