Mandarin Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed cream-of-mushroom soup
1/2 soup-can milk
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded sharp natural Cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2 cups cooked rice
2 cups diced cooked chicken
1 can (8 ounces) water chestnuts, drained, sliced
1 can (3 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 can (3 ounces) chow-mein noodles
Directions
Mix soup and milk and heat.
Add cheese and soy sauce and stir until cheese is melted.
Combine rice with chicken, water chestnuts and mushrooms.
Alternate layers of sauce and rice mixture in a 2-quart casserole.
Arrange noodles around top edge of mixture.
Bake in a 350° F.oven 25 minutes.
