1. Combine water, soy sauce, sherry, corn syrup and seasoned salt in a small bowl.
2. Arrange chicken, skin-side up, on the rack of broiler pan or in a shallow baking pan. Brush generously with part of the soy-sherry sauce.
3. Bake in moderate oven (350°), basting with the remaining sauce every 20 minutes, for 1 hour or until the chicken is tender and deep golden-brown. Place on a heated serving platter.
