Malpuras Recipe
Ingredients

| Refined flour | 115 Gram | |
| Sugar | 115 Gram | |
| Fat | 30 Gram | |
| Lime juice | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt a pinch | ||
| Soda bicarbonate | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cardamom | 10 | |
| Water | ||
| Fat for frying | ||
| Sugar syrup | ||
| Sugar | 340 Gram | |
| Water | 150 Milliliter | |
| Lime juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Sift flour and soda bicarbonate together; mix with semolina.
2. Add sugar, lime juice, fat, salt and cardamom powder and water to make a thin batter. Set aside for half an hour.
3. Prepare a sugar syrup with sugar and water. Clarify with lime juice; keep it hike-warm.
4. Heat a little fat in a fry-pan.
5. Pour a spoon of mixture. Spread it to a round of 10 cm. (4") diameter.
6. Pour a little hot fat around.
7. Turn over and fry. Remove excess fat and repeat process.
8. Put fried malpuras into prepared sugar syrup.
