Malaysian Biskut Senyum Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla essence | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 cup arrowroot flour | ||
| Sugar | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Unsalted roasted peanuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), crushed | |
Directions
Dry roast the two flours till pink and aromatic.
Cool and sift together.
Reserve.
Mix butter, sugar and the peanuts.
Add essence.
Add the flours and knead into a dough.
Make small balls and flatten them on a greased baking tray.
Bake in moderate oven for 30 minutes, or till golden and crisp.
Serve with cream or custard sauce.
