Malaxe Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 cup mashed Roquefort or blue cheese | ||
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tablespoons Calvados, Armagnac, applejack, or brandy | ||
Directions
Malaxe means mixture, and this one comes from Normandy.
Mix cheese with butter until smooth.
Add liquor.
Mix until smooth and creamy.
Spread on dry toast or on dark breads such as rye or pumpernickel.
