Malai Peda Recipe

Ingredients
Condensed Milk - 1 tin
Milk - 1 1/2 cups
Cornflour - 1 tsp
Citric acid - 1/4 tsp
Elaichi - 4-5, powdered
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Yellow color - A few drops
Directions
MAKING
1 In a pan, heat the ghee.
2 Add in the condensed milk and milk.
3 In a small bowl, dissolve the citric acid in a little water.
4 Stir into the milk mixture.
5 Continue cooking and allow the milk to curdle.
6 Meanwhile, in a small bowl, dissolve cornflour in 2 tbsp water.
7 Gradually, stir the cornflour into the milk mixture after it curdles.
8 Continue cooking on low heat, stirring, until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
9 Add in the color and mix well.
10 Transfer the mixture in to a tray and allow to cool slightly.
11 Using your hands, shape the mixture into even sized pedas.
SERVING
12 Decorate with elaichi powder and serve.
