Directions
1.Preheat the oven at about 400 degrees.
2.Mix the yogurt with milk to make buttermilk.
MAKING
3.In a large bowl take flour, baking soda, salt and butter and mix all the ingredients with the help of your hand till the time the butter mixes with the flour properly and you can hold the flour in your palm.
4.Stir and fold in the prepared buttermilk in the dough until its clumpy and sticky.
5.Spread dry flour on the platform and place the prepared dough on the platform , pat some dry flour on it and make it into a hill of about half inch thickness, oval in shape.
6.Digging into the dough on the platform cut out round pieces with the help of a cutter, place the prepared frame of butter cookies(which would come to around 12) in the baking tray and brush the tops with the butter.
3.With the remaining dough make extra biscuits to fit into a smaller pan.
8.Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 to 14 minutes.
SERVING
9.Serve the buttermilk biscuits with homemade blackberry jelly.
