Maja's Prawn Or Fish Patia Recipe
Ingredients
| 3/4 kg prawns, shelled, cleaned and deveined or any other fish | ||
| 8 medium-sized onions, grated | ||
| Tomato ketchup | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Juice of one lime | ||
| Vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar to taste | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| 4 tbsp sesame seed oil or ghee | ||
| Garlic | 8 Clove (5gm) (Grind together in a little Valsad vinegar:) | |
| 6-8 dry Goa red chillies | ||
| Cumin seeds | 2 Teaspoon (Grind together in a little Valsad vinegar:) | |
Directions
Marinate prawns with salt and lime juice for half an hour.
Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till brown.
Add ground spices and fry well.
Add prawns and simmer till done.
Add a little vinegar, salt, sugar and tomato ketchup.
Serve hot with boiled rice and plain dal.
