Ingredients

 
2 cana (4 ounce) sardines
 
1 container (8 ounce) cottage cheese
 
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
 
3 tablespoons sour cream
 
2 tablespoons chili sauce
 
1/4 cup minced celery
 
2 hard-cooked eggs,
 
coarsely chopped
 
1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
 
Salt and pepper to taste
 
4 large ripe tomatoes
 
Salad greens
 
2 hard-cooked eggs, sieved

Directions

Drain sardines.
Mash one can, reserving remaining can for garnish.
Combine mashed sardines with next 8 ingredients.
Cut tomatoes crosswise into 4 thick slices.
Spoon sardine filling between slices.
Place tomatoes on bed of greens.
Spoon Sardine mixture over top and sprinkle with sieved egg.
Garnish with remaining can of sardines.
