Ingredients
| Tomatoes | 6 Medium, peeled | |
| 1 3-ounce package lemon-flavored gelatin | ||
| Boiling water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 5-ounce jar cheese spread with pimiento | ||
| 1/4 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise | ||
| Cold water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Dash bottled hot pepper sauce | ||
| Cucumber | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Celery | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Lettuce | ||
Directions
Cut slice from top of tomatoes.
Scoop out centers; reserve and finely chop 1/2 cup pulp.
Invert tomatoes; drain well.
Sprinkle insides with salt.
Dissolve gelatin and 1/4 teaspoon salt in the boiling water.
Add cheese spread and salad dressing; beat with rotary beater till smooth.
Stir in cold water, vinegar, and hot pepper sauce.
Chill gelatin mixture till partially set.
Fold in reserved 1/2 cup tomato pulp, cucumber, and celery.
Spoon gelatin mixture into tomato cups.
Chill till firm.
Serve tomato on lettuce.
