Main Dish Meatballs Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound very lean ground beef | ||
| Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 1 Medium, finely chopped | |
| Skim milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Wheat germ | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Egg white | 1 | |
| 2 low-sodium beef bouillon cubes | ||
| 1 1/2 cups plus 1 tablespoon water | ||
| Parsley | 2 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
1. Mix together beef, garlic powder, onion, milk, pepper, wheat germ, dry mustard, and egg white.
2. Form into 12 meatballs and brown on all sides. Drain off fat.
3. Add bouillon cubes, 1 1/2 cups water, and parsley. Cover and cook 20 minutes.
4. Stir cornstarch into 1 tablespoon cold water and add to meatballs to make a gravy.
